Nice story, D.C. You remind me of talks and time spent with my own Dad, and that I really miss him.

Glad to have had them, though, as your kids will be when they're grown. Dads are great.

What a wonderful (yet simple) exposition of faith. I think it's great that you don't pressure your son to get confirmed, yet he chooses to do so on his own a year later. Acknowledging that a child's mind must be utterly free to make its own journey is the ultimate sign of respect for your son. What lucky kids these are!
